Angela Wood

Fifteen years ago Angela sold her first house in Uxbridge, she started this venture with her Dad Jim. Since her career began, she has gained invaluable experience representing many facets of real estate including farm properties, vacant land, residential, condo sales (new and re-sale) and estate homes.

She has collaborated directly with developers, creating in depth sales and marketing platforms for new condominium projects. The Wood Team has successfully sold-out entire projects. Her sales accomplishments have been recognized with multiple industry awards throughout her real estate career.

Prior to her career in real estate, Angela spent 14 years producing trade shows and conferences across the country, she later became General Manager of an event registration company.

She was the proud founder and event director for the Uxbridge Christmas Home Tour donating over $160,000 to local charities. The Rotary Club now manages this successful event for the community. Angela and her family continue to support numerous charities within the Uxbridge area.

Angela’s mentor was her late father Jim Wood. Jim’s successful career in real estate spanned over 35 years. She is forever grateful for his guidance, his humor and the depth of industry knowledge he shared with her over the years. He cared deeply about his community, often many of his clients became his friends, this sentiment continues with Angela today.

I love my profession. I chose it because I love helping people. Simple as that! Buying or selling a property can be stressful. For one thing, there are a lot of details, and attention to detail is one of my strengths. With an experienced eye for property, I can show sellers how to put their best foot forward, and advise buyers as they evaluate their options. I am patient; and I get to know the people I serve, putting their needs first, and fully respecting their time and their budget. The trust of my clients is a gift that I treasure.

In 2004, I moved from Toronto to Uxbridge and soon began looking for opportunities to support a community that I now called home. I became co-founder and sponsor of its Parkinson’s Support Group, and a proud supporter of the Jennifer Ashleigh Children’s Charity and Uxbridge Cat Rescue.

My skills as a business owner, retail general manager, and software marketer helped launch my career as a realtor in 2008. In 2010, I was honoured to be invited by Jim and Angela Wood to join the Wood Team. Jim’s unparalleled knowledge and generosity had already made him my mentor & friend, so it was an easy decision to make. His guidance has provided Angela & myself with a solid foundation to continue in his footsteps.

I’m a Leafs fan (although this is not always easy), an animal lover, a travel buff, and a pandemic-motivated bread maker. I think I’d describe myself as a life enthusiast, and I’d welcome the chance to share my enthusiasm with you to make your real estate journey a pleasure and a success.
